Hobart Paving has a rigorous policy of safe working throughout benefits from an in house Health, Safety, Environment and Training Team. The health and safety policy and procedures are communicated to all staff and subcontractors through induction training, regular site inspections and toolbox talks. The policy and procedures are audited and reviewed continually to ensure compliance with all standards and industry best practice.
Employees regularly attend specialist safety courses, including The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and all operatives have taken the health & safety touch screen test to achieve CSCS cards as a minimum, with the majority going on to complete their NVQ’s in Plant Operating (CPCS) and specific activities such as drainage, kerb laying, concreting, etc.
